RACC’s Artletics starts June 26
ROME — Artletics at Rome Art and Community Center, 308 W. Bloomfield St., is offering a fun-filled, eight-week summer camp program to explore, create and imagine.
Camp experiences include art projects, drama performances, sports, and learning through games. Each week has a different theme and artist of the week for campers to learn about.
This year, to add even more fun and enrichment, RACC has added a garden club and science club to the program.
Camp runs Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning on June 26, and ending on Aug. 17, with options to add on Rise-and-Shine starting at 7 a.m. and after hours ending at 5 p.m. Some of the favorite activities campers of the past have loved are water days and their live-streamed drama performance or art show every Thursday, officials noted.
Cost per week is $200, with discounts available for members, for having multiple campers attend, and for booking all weeks and paying before June 23. There is a $20 fee for before hours, and $20 for after camp care per week.
Artletics is funded in part by the City of Rome’s Federal HUD Grant Program (CDBG) and offers tuition assistance for campers that qualify. For more information, call 315-336-1040 or go online to romeart.org/artletics.
