RACC seeks volunteers for annual Halloween House

Rome Art and Community Center, 308 W. Bloomfield St., is looking for volunteers for its annual Halloween House event.

Halloween House will be held during the middle two weekends of October, however, before the event happens much planning and setup is required.

RACC is seeking people to help with the children’s events. These include, but are not limited to, Trick or Treat Street and the center’s Not So Scary Haunted House.

Help is needed for planning, setting up, taking down, and working during the actual event. The help does not include anything in the main house. That haunted house is put on by the Upstate Scare Crew and all roles are already filled.

Support from the community is critical for events like this, said Executive Director Jean M. Lieber. Those interested in becoming a volunteer for the event or wish to be a sponsor, contact RACC at executivedirector@romeart.org or by calling 315-336-1040.
