Proctor girls finish third in Section III Class AA meet
The Thomas R. Proctor girls track and field team finished third in the Section III Class AA meet with Rome Free Academy taking eighth. RFA’s boys team placed sixth and Proctor was 11th.
Cicero-North Syracuse won the girls team title with 184 points. Proctor had 60 points and RFA had 32.58.
Proctor’s Chennia Locke won the girls 100-meter hurdles.
Jasmine Gonzalez-Rivera of Proctor was second in the 400 hurdles. Raiyah Patterson was second in the long jump.
Amie Valentine of Proctor was third in the girls 400. Summer Woo was third in the discus.
The Raiders’ girls 1,600 relay team of Valentine, Megan Lew, Omarianna Thompson and Gonzalez-Rivera took third.
Nyashia Linen of Proctor was the lone competitor in the girls shot put and discus.
RFA’s Marlo Townsend was second in the girls 2,000-meter steeplechase.
Katherine DeHimer of RFA was third in the girls pole vault.
Baldwinsville won the boys title with 163 points. RFA had 36 and Proctor had 15.
RFA’s William D’Agata won the pole vault.
RFA’s Collin Gannon was second in the boys 100-meter dash. Teammate Jacob Swavely was second in the discus.
Proctor’s Chris Mateo was third in the boys high jump.
