ORISKANY — The Oriskany Central School District plans to continue the universal pre-kindergarten program for the 2018-19 school year next fall, and registration materials are available, the district announced.
The materials are at the N.A. Walbran Elementary School office, and should be returned with two proofs of residency and proof of the child’s age, the district said.
Pre-K screening will take place at the elementary school over the summer, according to the announcement by the Oriskany school district.
The state-funded program is offered for Oriskany district residents with children who will be four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2018, the district announcement added.
Students would be in class
for a half-day session, totaling two-and-a-half hours each school day.
Busing for students will be provided.
