Potential COVID exposure reported at Yellow Brick Road casino

WAMPSVILLE — The Madison County Health Department has confirmed that an individual who visited the Yellow Brick Road, 800 W. Genesee St., Chittenango, tested positive for COVID-19. Members of the public who visited the casino on Sunday, Oct. 11, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. is advised to self-monitor for symptoms through Sunday, Oct. 25.

The individual wore a mask, and the risk of transmission is considered low.

Symptoms include fever, cough, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and/or difficulty breathing. If symptoms develop, residents should stay home and contact their doctor for guidance on testing. In the event of an emergency, call 911.
