My neighbors and I have a problem that quite a few might not be aware of — and while some might care less, it is significant to us.

We get run off — water in basements and all kinds of litter, stones and trash from a good rain. It started when the Jubilee Estates were developed here in New Hartford and are a result of poor planning. Instead of rain water going into ditches on Tibbitts Road and into ditches on Oxford Road, the water goes straight down Tibbitts Road and into our homes.

It is a situation that deserves an answer and an appropriate fix.
