UTICA — The Utica Public Library will host Barbara Bartoletti, former New York League of Women Voters Legislative Director, on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. in the second floor Gallery Room.
Attendance is free.
The event begins with registration and refreshments at 10 a.m., followed by Bartoletti’s speech at 10:30 a.m.
Bartoletti will discuss her experiences as a government reform advocate in Albany and will give her views on the current state of politics. At 12:30 p.m., LWV will conduct their business meeting.
As legislative director for LWV-NY, Bartoletti oversaw all legislation of interest to the group in Albany. She has offered commentary in media across the Capital District, and worked on the ill-fated Moreland Commission to investigate corruption in state politics.
