Police seek pair of thieves in gas station break-in

Two thieves in hoodies broke into the Kekis Mobil gas station on West Dominick Street early Sunday morning, according to law enforcement officials.

No arrests have been made so far.

Police said the two suspects broke through the front door of the gas station at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday and stole merchandise from within. The two thieves then fled the building. Kekis Mobile was closed at the time.

The suspects wore hooded sweatshirts with the hoods up and tied tight to conceal their faces, police said. They also wore dark-colored pants.

So far there is no indication that the burglary is connected to break-ins at Olney’s Flowers and Black River Wine & Spirits from early Friday morning, police stated.

Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to call the police Detective Division at 315-339-7715. All calls will be kept confidential.
