Police say Rome man damaged SUV with baseball bat
ROME — A 38-year-old man has been charged with damaging a person's SUV with a baseball bat in Rome, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Todd M. Lashen, of Rome, was involved in a physical dispute with another person on Calvert Street around 9:11 p.m. May 14. Police said the other person left the scene in a vehicle driven by his mother, and Lashen struck the mother's 2016 Dodge Journey with a baseball bat.
A criminal summons was issued for Lashen and he was taken into custody on Wednesday on one count of fourth-degree mischief, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
