A Rome man has been charged with drug possession for the second time this year, according to law enforcement officials.
Police said Dallas E. Shuck, 36, of Henry Street, was located in the 200 block of N. Madison St. at about 4:50 p.m. Sunday following a report of suspicious activity.
Police said Shuck was found with a quantity of methamphetamine.
Shuck is charged with one count of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a hypodermic instrument.
He is scheduled to appear in court to answer the charges,
the law enforcement officials added.
Police said Shuck was also charged with an open bench
warrant after he had failed to appear in City Court on a
previous drug arrest from
Police said Shuck was a passenger in a traffic stop on South James Street at about 3:19 a.m. Feb. 14 and he was found with a quantity of amphetamine.
He was charged at the time with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, authorities stated.
