Two men have been charged with stealing 25 single cans of Red Bull from the Tops grocery store Thursday afternoon.
For one of the men, it is his second larceny charge this week, according to law enforcement officials.
Police said Jarrott Marino, 39, of 213 E. Bloomfield St., and Joseph Matt, 38, of 419 N. George St., stole 25 individual cans of Red Bull from the Tops market in Freedom Plaza on Erie Boulevard West at about 2 p.m. Thursday.
Police said one man acted as lookout while the other man stole the cans and put them in a backpack.
Marino and Matt are both charged with one count of petty larceny, a misdemeanor, police stated.
They were released on appearance tickets for City Court.
According to Utica Police, Matt was previously charged on Monday with stealing $173 worth of clothing and electronics from the Walmart in north Utica.
Matt was stopped by store security and was banned from all Walmart locations, police stated.
He was charged with petty larceny and is scheduled to appear in Utica City Court, police said.
