Police charge man with mischief for damaging victim's car

A 40-year-old man has been charged with damaging another person’s vehicle at Park Drive Manor, according to law enforcement officials.

Police said Ernest Fancher Sr., of West Court Street, smashed the windshield and damaged the bumper of another man’s vehicle at Park Drive Manor at about 8 p.m. April 6. The victim told police that he saw Fancher as he pulled into the complex, and the victim fled inside while Fancher attacked the vehicle.

A warrant was issued for Fancher and authorities said he was taken into custody on Sunday on one count of fourth-degree mischief. He is scheduled to appear in City Court.
