The city’s Planning Board will hold a public hearing on request by the Buck Group for the “Delta Community,” a 65-lot first phase of a 90-lot total major subdivision off of Charles Anken Boulevard, according to the application on the board agenda on the city’s website.
The Planning Board will hold a pre-meeting at 6:30 p.m. with the regular meeting to follow at 7 p.m.
The project would occupy an area between Merrick Road and Jervis Avenue and behind Craighurst Drive, according to a sketch drawing which was included with the Buck Group’s application.
A state environmental quality review and preliminary plan review will also be conducted on the proposal by Buck Group.
The plan, according to the application before the planning board, is for a residential subdivision with municipal sewer and water.
The construction would also include stormwater management work, the application states.
Black River Boulevard car wash
also up for consideration
Also on the board agenda is an environmental review and site plan review for Hoffman Development Corp. to build a car wash at 1727 Black River Blvd.
The proposed items were both tabled at the Planning Board’s meeting in April, and they will now both be up for consideration at tonight’s meeting.
The site of what would be a new 6,400-square-foot Hoffman Car Wash & Jiffy Lube was the former Rite Aid Pharmacy that neighbors Key Bank, across the street from Black River Plaza. Hoffman has already received approval from the board and Zoning Board of Appeals for construction of a car wash at 1315 Erie Blvd. W.
