This little 2-year-old girl is Tiana. She had quite the adventure here at the shelter. When she first came to us she got in a little trouble by eating something she shouldn’t have. Thankfully, we caught it in time to help her out. She would do best in a quiet household, one with someone that would spend a lot of time with her and love her to bits. A few of Tiana’s favorite things include laying in cat beds, wet food and lots of attention! She also will gobble up any type of Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers, chunky, or the primavera wet food — it’s her favorite! To visit Tiana, stop by the Humane Society of Rome, 6247 Lamphear Road, call 315-336-7070 or go to www.humanesocietyrome.com.
This beautiful senior girl is still waiting for her hero to come along! Pawla came in as a stray in September and no one came looking for her. She is 13 years old and deserves to be in a home, not a shelter. Pawla doesn’t care to have any kitty friends in her old age, so we are hoping to find someone looking for one sweetie to spoil. She is lovable and can be talkative sometimes. For the most part, she just wants a quiet place to cuddle up. Pawla is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her bloodwork was slightly off, indicating she could have early kidney disease. She is also missing most of her teeth. Overall she is in pretty good health for being 13 years old.
