PBS airs ‘Folklore and Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach’


SYLVAN BEACH — WPBS-DT will present its newest production in a full length feature film, “Folklore and Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach,” which investigates the ghost stories of Sylvan Beach Amusement Park with a “fun and frightening” theatrical presentation.

Using all local actors of all ages, the installment of Folklore & Frost takes viewers on a roller-coaster of a ride with twists and turns.  Rated PG-13, the broadcast premiere is Monday, Oct. 22 at 10 p.m. and again on Oct. 27 at 10 p.m.  “Folklore & Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach” will also be available to watch online at wpbstv.org/watch. 

The Black River Drive-In in Watertown will screen a double feature “Folklore & Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach” followed by “Folklore & Frost: Haunted Happenings” on Friday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m.  The showing is free to the public.
