Paul M. Florczyk, 39, of Westmoreland, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2018. Born in Rome on May 8, 1979, he was the son of John and Roberta (Giedris) Florczyk. He was a standout football player and graduate of Westmoreland High School.
After graduating from Sage Truck Driving School, Paul went to work for R + L Trucking in Syracuse.
He was a member of the Church of the Annunciation in Clark Mills.
Paul was a long suffering fan of his beloved Buffalo Bills. He was talented in so many ways. He loved history, enjoyed woodworking, taking selfies, and drawing. He also liked to read and write stories and entertain friends and family with his sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents, John and Roberta of Westmoreland; the love of his life and mother of his children, Rachel Wilson of Westmoreland; his two boys, Bryce Patrick and Blake Matthew Florczyk; a sister, Jennifer (Matthew) Judge of Chazy, NY; two brothers, Sean (Theresa) and Kyle (Allie) Florczyk, all of Clinton; “Mama” Madelyn Wilson; and many beautiful nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins whom he cherished.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 31, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Annunciation, 7616 E. South St., Clinton. Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Sunday, December 30th from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
