Mohawk Valley Community College and SUNY Polytechnic Institute on Friday will introduce an expanded “Path to Poly” collaborative agreement, significantly building upon an existing partnership between the two institutions, SUNY Poly announced.
The expanded transfer paths will allow students graduating from MVCC to easily continue their education at SUNY Poly, according to the announcement.
The agreement will be introduced Friday at 3 p.m. at MVCC’s thINCubator, 326 Broad St. in Utica. The event’s speakers will include MVCC President Randall J. VanWagoner and SUNY Poly interim President Grace Wang.
Under the expanded agreement, qualified graduating students from every program at MVCC are encouraged to discover their “Path to Poly.” Over 50 paths have been created or updated, allowing MVCC students to earn a bachelor’s degree at SUNY Poly in two years or four semesters. The expanded agreement is one of several Paths to Poly for MVCC students, said the announcement, noting that a dual admissions program also is included.
