Pair receive academic honors at HVCC

TROY — Two area students have been lauded for academic excellence for the spring 2021 semester at Hudson Valley Community College.

They are:

Katelyn Roser, of Verona, who was named to the president’s list at HVCC, where she is studying dental hygiene; and

Tania Yangasa, of Utica, who was named to the dean’s list. She is studying criminal justice.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it enrolls nearly 10,000 students.
