Pair of real estate companies combine forces

Benn Realty — with offices in Old Forge and Remsen — has announced that the company has acquired Burkhard Evans Inc. of Inlet. The two companies have a combined 150 years of real estate experience in and around the Adirondacks.

The goal of the acquisition is to provide a seamless transition that will benefit clients with a wider geographic range, convenience and access to agents, offices and information.

The Burkhard Evans team will continue to operate out of the Inlet offices and will be referred to as the Burkhard Evans Team of Benn Realty LLC. The Remsen and Old Forge teams will continue to assist clients out of those offices.

“We are really excited about merging such talented and experienced agents like Sarah Evans Frey, a third generation real estate professional, and owner of Burkhard Evans, Inc., and Barbara Winslow and Georgia Levi, both veteran real estate and insurance agents from the Old Forge and Inlet area,” said Natalie Roth, broker/owner of Benn Realty.

“The diversity of experience and knowledge in this newly combined team will be highly beneficial to both sellers and buyers in the Southern Adirondack, North Country and Mohawk Valley Regions,” Roth added.

In an effort to celebrate the excitement and keep the legacy of both companies alive, a new branding campaign is being initiated. The logo has been retooled to honor the joint affinity for the Adirondack Mountains and beloved lakes in the region, combining the iconic lake logo of Burkhard-Evans Inc. along with the well-known Adirondack cabin logo from Benn Realty.

The website will continue to be but will tout the new logo and combined rebranding aesthetics as well as reflect the mission, vision and values of the blended company.

The new phone number for The Burkhard Evans Team of Benn Realty is 315-357-ADKS (2357). The address remains the same as PO Box 329, 159 Main St., Inlet NY 13360.

Benn Realty has been locally owned and operated company since 1968.
