Pair accused of stealing vehicle from business

WHITESTOWN — Two Utica teenagers are accused of stealing a car in Whitestown.

Sheriff’s deputies said Jonathan Surprenant, 18, and Robert Perry, 19, stole a motor vehicle from a business in Whitestown on June 11. Deputies said the vehicle was recovered and returned to the business.

Surprenant and Perry are both charged with one count each of fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony, authorities said.

They are scheduled to appear in Town Court, the law enforcers added.
