TOWN OF VIENNA — A man and woman from Camden are accused of stealing construction tools from different logging sites and selling them for scrap metal.

State police said Lori J. Daily, 46, and David H. Yager, 45, both of 10020 Johnnie Cake Road, stole several construction tools from several logging sites in the Town of Vienna, worth approximately $7,500.

Troopers said the stolen items were later found at Rubicon Recycling in Rome after the pair sold the items for scrap, claiming they owned the tools.

Daily and Yager are both charged with one count each of third and fourth-degree possession of stolen property, both felonies, authorities said. They were arraigned in court and Daily was sent to county jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, Yager without bail. The pair are scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
