An Oswego County man was busted for methamphetamine possession following a traffic stop on Erie Boulevard very early this morning, according to law enforcement officials.
Police said Matthias J. Kubick, 27, of Altmar, was pulled over in the 600 block at about 12:43 a.m. for a vehicle and traffic violation. Once stopped, police said Kubick gave officers a false name, and he was found with a quantity of meth in the vehicle. Police said Kubick was also driving on an improper license.
Kubick is charged with one count each of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, false personation, expired inspection and a taillight violation, police stated. He was held in lockup to await arraignment today in City Court.
