The Oriskany boys golf team remained unbeaten by defeating Center State Conference foe Mount Markham 171-236 on Tuesday at par 36 Crestwood Golf Club.

Patrick Maher and Nick Deriso both fired a 42 to earn medalist honors for the Redskins, who improved to 10-0 overall and 8-0 in the CSC.

Keegar Harter had a 53 to notch medalist honors for the Mustangs.

Oriskany visits Clinton at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Skenandoa Golf Club.

New Hartford boys lacrosse victorious

In boys lacrosse action on Tuesday, New Hartford beat visiting Carthage 12-7.

Dan Friedel led the Spartans with three goals and one assist, while Mateo Ripa tallied three goals, Jarrett Sherman had two goals and one assist and Sawyer Kramer added one goal and one assist. Evan Dziegel, James Bisaccia and Logan Bank chipped in goal each.

New Hartford goalie Gabriel Cull made seven saves in net.

Nardslico leads RFA girls lax past New Hartford

Alyssa Nardslico scored four goals in an 11-2 win for Rome Free Academy girls lacrosse over visiting New Hartford Monday. The win pushed the Black Knights’ Tri-Valley League record to 7-0.

RFA had already clinched the regular season league title going into the game.

Nardslico added an assist for a five-point game. Alexandra Tapia had a hat trick with an assist. Four Knights added a goal each: Drew Kopek, Danielle D’Aiuto, Shannen Calandra and Isabella Sanzone.

RFA ran out to a 6-1 halftime lead then outscored the Spartans 5-1 in the second half.

Bella Kolb scored both New Hartford goals, with an assist on one from Leah Hilton.

RFA’s Alana Iacovissi made four saves in the win.

Emily Picolla of New Hartford stopped 10 shots.

RFA is 11-3 overall. The Knights ended the regular season Tuesday at Whitesboro in the TVL. Results were not available at press time. NH drops to 7-8 overall and 3-4 in the league. The Spartans finished the regular season Tuesday hosting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill in the league. Results were not available at press time.
