At an organizational meeting for the 2020 Rome Downtown Market season on Wednesday a number of particulars were set, according to an announcement by market organizers.
This year the season - which draws farm vendors and food trucks alike to the area surrounding City Hall at 198 N. Washington St. - will run on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Wednesday, May 27 through Wednesday, Sept. 30.
There also is a possibility for vendors to set up on Monday evenings at the city’s summer concert series dates (which run from 6 p.m. to around 8 p.m.) from July 6 to August 17, at no additional charge.
This year, the permit fee for the season is $100.
More vendors are wanted, said city Marketing and Special Events Coordinator Makenzi Enos.
