ZONTA AWARD RECIPIENTS — The Zonta Club of Oneida hosted three award winners and the Oneida Z Club’s Advisor at a recent meeting. Hannah Meat, of Oneida High School, received the Young Women in Public Affairs Award based on an active commitment to volunteerism, leadership achievements and experience in local or student government. Emily Bellinger, of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School, received the Mildred Ridley Award given to women enrolled in a post-secondary program with a goal to reenter the work force to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Keiarra Collins, of VVS, received the Jean M. Coon Humanitarian Award given to a student who demonstrates outstanding volunteer commitments to their local community. Also honored Patti Vacarro, advisor to the Oneida Z Club, who is retiring after 12 years of guiding the Z Club. From left: Vacarro, Myatt, Bellinger and Collins.
