Oneida Shop with a Cop
A GOOD HAUL — Firefighter Brian Burkle pushes a cart of toys and gifts with a new, young friend at the Oneida City Police Department and Oneida City Fire Department’s Shop with a Cop and Firefighter event. The departments joined forces and took 97 children on a holiday shopping spree through the Oneida Walmart.
PICK OUT THE BEST ONE — Five-year-old Mason Taylor looks to pick out the best toy on the shelf with the help of Lt. Ross Relyea of the Oneida City Fire Department at the Oneida Shop with a Cop and Firefighter event on Saturday. The Oneida City Police Department and Oneida City Fire Department teamed up this year to ensure dozens of children in need can have a merry Christmas.
TOUGH CHOICE — Members of the Oneida City Police Department and Fire Department take children on a holiday shopping spree through Oneida Walmart, picking out toys, clothes and other gifts on Saturday. Above, a young shopper and his new police pal peruse the Star Wars Lego sets.
AISLES OF SMILES — The Shop with a Cop and Firefighter event helped 97 children cross a few items off of their holiday wish lists as the children shopped with members of the Oneida City Police Department and Fire Department, who enjoyed helping them every step along the way.
