Oneida Republicans hold meet-and-greet event

ONEIDA — Oneida residents got to meet with members of the Oneida City Republican Committee and its candidates on Sunday at Origilio’s Wagon Wheel. People were invited to “Wings and Things,” where residents got a chance to sit down with candidates.

More than 120 people stopped by, organizers said, including Assemblyman John Salka, R-121, Brookfield. Republicans on the ballot this coming November include the following:

Todd Hood, for Madison County sheriff;

Mike Keville, for Madison County clerk;

Helen Acker, for Oneida mayor;

Anna Hood, for Oneida
chamberlain;

Matthew Roberts, for Oneida supervisor wards 1, 2, 3;

Mary Cavanagh, for Oneida supervisor wards 1, 2, 3;

Joseph Ostrander, for Oneida supervisor wards 1, 2, 3;

Gary Reisman, for Oneida council ward 1;

Steve Laureti, for Oneida
council ward 2;

Rick Rossi, for Oneida
council ward 3;

Michelle Kinville, for Oneida council ward 4;

Brandee Dubois, for Oneida council ward 5; and

Tom Simchik, for Oneida council ward 6.

The public is invited to the 13th annual George Warner Memorial Golf Tournament at the Oneida Community Golf Club on Thursday, Aug. 12. The golf outing is a fundraising to help offset costs of the Republic Candidates running for election in and from Oneida.
