Oneida Police Department announces recent arrests, July 19 to 23

The Oneida Police Department announced the following recent arrests:

• Michael A. Merrill, 54, of Oneida, was charged on July 21 with first-degree sex abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

• Liam J. O’Donnell, 23, of Utica, was picked up on July 21 on three separate arrest warrants for two counts of third-degree burglary and one count each of third and fourth-degree grand larceny, third and fourth-degree mischief, petty larceny and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• John J. Albertson, 42, of Canastota, was issued an appearance ticket on July 23 for petit larceny.

• Michelle M. French, 62, of Oneida, was issued appearance tickets on July 22 for driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

• Jeffrey T. Coonrod, 31, of Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket on July 22 for disorderly conduct.

• Christopher J. Gordon, 24, of Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket on July 20 for petit larceny.

• Samantha E. Sheedy, 20, of Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket on July 20 for seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.

• Andrew G. Bavo, 27, of Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket on July 19 for second-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• Thomas P. Vanlieshout, 37, of Verona, was issued a criminal summons on July 19 for third-degree forgery.
