ONEIDA — The city of Oneida welcomed in the holidays with the first ever Christmas Story Downtown Stroll.
Local residents were invited to stop, shop and stroll the many local businesses in downtown Oneida, themed to their favorite Christmas time stories, from "Frosty the Snowman" to "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".
Carolers strolled through Oneida, bring with them holiday cheer. Horse drawn sleigh rides gave children a chance to sit and talk with Mrs. Claus and her friends.
It was all capped off with a visit from Santa Claus and the tree lighting at Higinbotham Park.
