One-day hiring event in Rome on April 6

ROME — A one-day hiring event job fair will be held at the Rome Alliance Church on Turin Street on Thursday, April 6, according to Rome Community Job Fairs.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rome Alliance Church at 920 Turin St. There will be 45 employers in attendance from a wide variety of fields, officials said. The goal is to bring together job seekers and employers face-to-face.

The event is open to the public.

Some of the employers in attendance will be Remington Firearms, Indium Corporation, The House of the Good Shepherd, King Pin Lanes, Northland Communications and more. A full list of employers is available online.
