Off The Muck Market announces collaboration with Grindstone Farm

CANASTOTA — When local organic farming leader, Grindstone Farm, of Pulaski, reached out to Off the Much Market out about working together, the Canastota-based fresh food delivery service jumped at the opportunity, according to an announcement.

As a certified organic farm that has been serving both Central New York and North Country, Grindstone Farm is committed to growing high-quality fruits and vegetables. As part of its collaboration, Off The Muck Market will handle its deliveries. In addition, all of the fresh, organic produce that customers have come to expect from Grindstone Farm will now be available to Off The Muck Market customers.

“Off The Muck Market is committed to providing convenient year-round delivery of the widest variety of fresh, local produce,” said Victoria Ladd-de Graff, one of the owners of Grindstone Farm. “By partnering with Grindstone Farm, Off The Muck Market will benefit to now include a certified organic diversified, locally-grown line to complement their current products. Grindstone will continue to grow food and curate organic product availability weekly from our network of local farms for Off The Muck Market.”

This farm-to-table method of delivering fresh fruits and vegetables to customers’ doors has been growing in popularity. Since Grindstone Farm has been a staple in the Central NY agricultural community for more than 40 years, they say they have seen this demand growing. Both organizations are looking forward to providing customers fresh and local produce.

“As one of the pioneers of local organic produce, Off The Muck Market is honored to partner with Dick de Graff and Grindstone Farm to bring organic and locally-sourced produce to our customer’s homes,” said Carl Chappell, owner and founder of Off The Muck Market. “We aim to bring the same level of service and quality that Grindstone Farm’s customers have come to expect from their weekly deliveries of organic grocery products.”

In the near future, Off The Muck Market customers will be able to choose from a variety of organic produce courtesy of Grindstone Farm as well as select boxes with only organic produce. Grindstone Farm customers can look forward to gaining access to all of Off The Muck Market’s products, as well as their delivery service, beginning over the next few weeks.
