UTICA — The New York Lottery today announced one winning second-prize ticket for the $1 billion Powerball drawing on Monday, Oct. 31, was sold at the Parkway Drugs store at 485 French Road. That ticket, officials said, is worth $2 million.

Lottery officials said Tuesday that there were two second-place winning tickets sold in the state. In addition to the one in Utica, there was another, worth a garanteed $1 million, in Elmsford.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. The New York Lottery is the largest in North America, and it contributed $3.59 billion in fiscal year 2020-21 to help support education in the state.
