Stephen and Canan Jackson and the John Hayes O’Neill Studio of Dance will present its 29th annual Nutcracker production at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 8 at the Capitol Theatre, 220 W. Dominick St.
Tickets are $27 and $32; $22 and $27 for seniors; and $16 and $20 for children. They will be available during box office hours at the O’Neill Studio of Dance, 218 W. Dominick St., second floor, from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 1-5 p.m. Saturday.

Starring as this year’s Sugar Plum Fairy is Anika Amidon, who began dancing with the studio at age 3 and has risen through the ranks over the years, said owner Stephen Jackson.
This year’s Nutcracker/Cavalier comes to Rome from Ankara, Turkey. He is principal dancer Kadir Okurer.
Okurer is a world-class solo artist, having performed in Europe, Asia and Korea.
He was named Male Dancer of the Year in 2014.
Tori Pietryka and Brynn Smith will play Clara. They have also been students at The John Hayes O’Neill Studio of Dance since age 3 and 5 respectively.
