New senior associate joins Dermody, Burke & Brown

SYRACUSE — Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs has announced the recent hiring of Shannon Tinsmon as a senior associate.

Tinsmon will work in the tax department at the company’s Syracuse office. Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs has additional offices in Auburn, New Hartford and Rome.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s of business administration degree from St. John Fisher College as well as five years of experience in public accounting.

Tinsmon is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is working to complete the certification process to earn her designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
