VERONA BEACH — 50 Forward Verona Beach, located at the Jason Gwilt Memorial Senior Apartments, 6734 Route 13, has expanded its hours of operation to better serve the Verona Beach community, according to an announcement by agency officials.

The new hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday; and 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The facility is closed on Sunday.

All community members age 18 and older are welcome to attend classes, the announcement said, adding that there is a fee for non-members.

Some of the evening classes currently being offered include: Pound, Line Dancing, and Zumba.

Members and non-members alike can pay for the classes on a seven-week basis, or pay a drop-in fee for the classes when they attend.
