BUFFALO — New Hartford’s Grayson Gall placed second overall at the state gymnastic meet over the weekend at Kenmore West High School.

Section III was the all-around team champion with a score of 184.450, just 0.475 points ahead of Section VI.

Gall won the bars and beam and finished with 37.700 points in the all-around.

The winner was Hannah Hughes of Section XI, with an all-around score of 38.200 and a win in the vault.

Madison Scranton of New Hartford placed third with 37.425 points. She was tied for third in the floor exercise.

Julia Makuszak of New Hartford was sixth with 36.850 points. Her top finish was fifth in the balance beam.

Jayla Jordan of New Hartford was 30th overall but was tied for second in floor exercise and third in the vault.
