Naturally Lewis to host economic development conference celebrating ‘Shift Back to Rural’
LYONS FALLS — Naturally Lewis will host the Lewis County Economic Development Conference with the theme, Shift Back to Rural, on Wednesday, June 15, at the 3 Willows Event Center.
In its announcement, local economic development officials said that Naturally Lewis is shifting the conversation to focus on successes in its rural economy, coming back to community and coming back to the humanness of working together as a means of growth.
“We are looking forward to a full day filled with leadership development, economic development updates, community building, and networking,” event organizers said.
The agenda includes:
-Keynote address by Christie Andrus-Nakano, a local business owner providing unique coaching and leadership service through her business, The Human Factor;
-Nationally recognized speakers with exclusive content from Leadercast 2021 delivering insights and take aways that will challenge and inspire attendees; and
-Breakout sessions and interactive discussions with local topics and local speakers.
Among the various breakout sessions planned for the economic development conference include:
-Rural Entrepreneurship: Small Supporting Small;
-Workforce Development of the Future: Retention Benefits, Apprenticeships & Internships;
-Lewis Life: The Rural Movement The Regional Approach;
-Drum Country & Beyond Scaling Up;
-Embracing Local Tools to Grow Your Business; and
-Marketing Your Lewis County Business.
