MVCC’s fall non-credit catalog now available

UTICA — Mohawk Valley Community College’s Center for Corporate and Community Education (CCED) has launched its Fall 2021 non-credit course schedule.

The catalog, MVCConnect, highlights the various courses MVCC has to offer. It includes information on credit and non-credit opportunities as well as the college’s Cultural Series lineup.

MVCConnect is available online at www.mvcc.edu/cced. People can browse the schedule online and sign up through the online registration system. The full-color catalog also will be mailed to local residents in late August.

For non-credit programs, course offerings, in-person and online, include:

College for Kids and Teens — Languages, fall baking, arts and crafts, test prep, among others;

Leisure Learning — Podcasting, cooking, language, and travel;

Professional development certificates — Such as Power BI (Business Intelligence), Project Management, Video Marketing, Graphic Design Software Essentials; and

Healthcare and fitness — CPR, phlebotomy, Certified Nurse Aide, and high school coaching certification.

People can also go online to www.mvcc.edu/cced. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. All MVCC non-credit instruction is completely self-supporting, including indirect costs, and requires no public funding.
