MVCC drops pair to Adirondack
The Mohawk Valley Community College baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader Sunday to host SUNY Adirondack.
Adirondack took the first game 12-4 and walked off the second game with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to earn a four-game weekend series split with MVCC. The Hawks won both games at home on Saturday by scores of 5-2 and 8-4.
Proctor High of Utica's Joe DiMasse continued his hot hitting with two hits in the second game for MVCC.
The losses dropped the Hawks to 7-5 in Region III and 10-10 overall.
MVCC visits the Utica University junior varsity team at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
