UTICA — On Saturday, Dec. 4, the Mohawk Valley Frontiers Club will host its 37th Annual Senior Holiday Dinner. The dinners will be distributed at Utica Academy of Science Charter School, 1214 Lincoln Ave., between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Participants drive around to the back of the building to pick up dinners.
Pre-registration is required by Friday, Nov. 26, and can be made by contacting DInner Chairperson Darlene Mack-Brown at 315-733-2069 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the total number, names, addresses, and phone numbers of seniors who will need dinners.
The Mohawk Valley Frontiers Club initiates service programs and charitable activities to meet community needs. Membership is made up of men and women from a broad range of professional, religious and ethnic backgrounds who volunteer their time for the social good, officials said.
The organization operates on three levels: Senior Frontiers, Junior Frontiers, and Junior Frontiers Alumni Impact Coalition. Each level has their own distinct motto, “Service is our Motto,” “Education is Key," and “Capable, Competent, Diversified Leadership” respectively.
