Multiple drugs seized in Oneida raid
ONEIDA — Quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, suboxone and marijuana were seized during a drug raid in the City of Oneida on Thursday, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies said a search warrant was executed at the upstairs apartment at 356 N. Lake St. on Thursday. Investigators seized 3.3 ounces of meth, 2.5 ounces of crack cocaine, 1.2 grams of powder cocaine, 56 suboxone strips and 9.9 ounces of marijuana, authorities stated.
The raid also uncovered a pair of metal knuckles, drug packaging materials and digital scales, deputies said. The apartment resident was taken into custody.
Scott Knapp, 49, is charged with three counts each of third and fourth-degree possession of a controlled substance and one count each of second, fifth and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, third and fourth-degree possession of a weapon, second-degree use of drug paraphernalia, second-degree obstruction of a governmental administration and resisting arrest, deputies stated.
Knapp is scheduled to appear in court.
