Motorcycle crash sends man, 67, to hospital

ANNSVILLE — A South Carolina man was hospitalized after his motorcycle hit a guardrail in Annsville Sunday afternoon, according to law enforcers.

Sheriff’s deputies said Todd Day, 67, was eastbound on Sheehan Road when he lost control of his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle at about 1 p.m. Deputies said the bike went off the south shoulder near Schrader Road and hit a guardrail.

Day suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Syracuse, authorities said. No tickets were issued.
