VERONA — The awards keep piling up faster than poker chips at Turning Stone Casino and Resort.
The latest applause, as reported last week, was US News & World Report ranking The Lodge as the fourth best resort in New York. In its annual 15 Best Resorts list, the magazine ranks the best resorts in New York by taking into account reputation among professional travel experts, guest reviews from TripAdvisor, and hotel class ratings, the raters say. The Turning Stone “resort-casino is a mega-plex that easily rivals some of the sprawling properties in Las Vegas,” the magazine rating says.
For the resort’s golf courses, Golf Advisor named all three of Turning Stone’s 18-hole courses as the Top 3 courses in New York. AAA also recently announced Turning Stone earned three Four Diamond Awards. The Lodge has tallied nearly 500 positive TripAdvisor reviews.
Turning Stone has also received other positive ratings from industry observers.
Casino Player Magazine recently named Turning Stone as the Best Overall Gaming Resort in New York, and Forbes Travel Guide awarded the resort with four of its Four Star awards.
It’s good to see that despite the pain and shortfalls of the pandemic that we still have a world-class operation that attracts visitors and golfers from all over to its tables, games, restaurants and golf courses.
