Mohawk Valley Choral Society performs spring concert Sunday
UTICA—The Mohawk Valley Choral Society presents its spring concert “Songs of Light and Love” at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at the Our Lady of Lourdes campus of Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, at 2222 Genesee St. in Utica.
Now in its 40th year, and under the direction of David Kolb, the chorus will sing songs ranging from the 16th to 21st century. The concert will encompass a wide range of styles and moods including composers ranging from Leonard Bernstein to Moses Hogan to Thomas Morley and Thomas Tallis.
Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets may be obtained from any chorus member, at Center Stage Pianos in New Hartford, the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts in Little Falls, or at Weisser’s Jewelers in Herkimer.
