CLINTON — A total of 10 Section III boys basketball teams are set to converge on Hamilton College in Clinton. Nine are located around the Mohawk Valley.

The Mohawk Valley Basketball Classic is scheduled for five games throughout Sunday at Hamilton College’s Athletic Center. There are games involving teams from classes AA, A, B, C and D.

The fourth annual event is hosted by the IAABO Utica/Rome Board #51 Boys Basketball Officials.

The schedule is as follows:

11 a.m. — Herkimer vs. Mount Markham (Class C teams)

1 p.m. — Hamilton vs. West Canada Valley (Class D teams)

3 p.m. — Clinton vs. Vernona-Verona-Sherrill (Class B teams)

5 p.m. — New Hartford (Class A) vs. Fayetteville-Manlius (Class AA)

7 p.m. — Whitesboro (Class A) vs. Central Valley Academy (Class B)

After each game, plaques will be awarded to the Most Valuable Player and senior scholar athletes, according to a release.

Admission to all games $5. Children five years old and younger are free to enter. $1 of the ticket admission will be donated to the American Cancer Society, according to a release.
