Miller secures grant for Bisby Hall restoration
WEST WINFIELD — Assemblyman Brian Miller secured a State and Municipal Facilities Grant for the village of West Winfield’s recent restoration of Bisby Hall, a 1909 building that serves as village hall and community center.
“Bisby Hall means so much to generations of residents of West Winfield. It’s not only the village hall but also serves as a center of the arts, entertainment, and community gathering,” said Miller. “I am so pleased to have helped secure SAM grant funding to help the village restore this important community space.”
At one time, Bisby Hall also served as a stage theater, dance hall, general space for events and a library. The hall is named after the Bisby family on whose land the hall was built.
