MARTINSBURG — A Lewis County man is facing multiple charges following a drug raid at his home on Route 26 early Monday morning, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies said a 15-month-long investigation into the sale of methamphetamine led to a search warrant being executed at a residence on Route 26 at about 5:22 a.m. Monday. Deputies said they seized four grams of meth, digital scales, a bludgeon weapon and $100 cash.

Tyler J. Moroughan, 29, a resident, is charged with one count each of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and fourth-degree possession of a weapon, as well as two counts of second-degree use of drug paraphernalia, authorities stated.

Moroughan was arraigned in court and was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in court, according to the law enforcement officials.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
