Police said James J. Suders, 38, of Clinton, was pulled over on East Garden Street for suspicious driving and several vehicle violations. Once stopped, police said he was found with at least two baggies of meth on his person, and other drugs in the trunk, including morphine pills.
A total of 43 grams of meth were found with Suders, authorities stated.
Suders is charged with two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and one count each of fourth and seventh-degree possession, as well as second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
