Master gardener to give presentation at Sherrill Garden Club
SHERRILL — The February meeting of the Sherrill Garden Club will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Sherrill-Kenwood Free Library, 543 Sherrill Road.
The program will feature Master Gardener Rosanne Loparco, who will give a presentation on “Environmentally Friendly Gardening,” including information about composting, beneficial insects, integrated pest management, gardening with less water and companion planting.
Hostesses for the meeting are Rebecca Pease and Joyce Smith.
“Spring is just around the corner and it won’t be long before we can use some of these strategies,” event organizers said, adding that “the meeting is open to anyone who has an interest in gardening and learning about the Sherrill Garden Club.”
