Masonic Medical Research Institute to host Business After Hours

UTICA — Masonic Medical Research Institute (MMRI) will host the Greater Utica Area Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Business After Hours from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13.

MMRI, 2150 Bleecker St., is an independent research institute and a global leader in basic biomedical research.

It features a team of 50 professionals, including 35 scientists, lead by Executive Director Maria Kontaridis, the Gordon K. Moe Professor, Chair of Biomedical Research and Translational Medicine, and Director of Research at MMRI.

MMRI is a growing nonprofit with plans to increase its research capacity, create more educational opportunities for young scientists, and continue to build partnerships with local health systems. For more about MMRI, visit mmri.edu.

The cost for pre-registered chamber members is $10, or $15 at the door. For those who are not chamber members and wish to attend, the cost is $20. Pre-registration can be made online at https://bit.ly/3EnEj7I.

All employees of chamber member businesses are eligible to attend at the member price.
